We are opening up to European Sellers. To ensure a seamless integration, we're rolling out this exciting expansion in phases. This means that we will gradually enable individual countries and selected legal entities for integration.

We are currently checking the basic requirements and basic capabilities of every retailer before we enable a connection to otto.de. We do this in order to offer you a fair, high-quality marketplace.

As part of its transformation into a platform, OTTO is opening up even more to brands and partners. Over the past three years, OTTO has invested heavily in the marketplace to make it future-proof, because we can only be successful in the long term together with our partners.

Our criteria for retailers

A few things first: not just anybody can join the platform. It may seem strict at first, but it’s due to an important principle: At otto.de, we only offer our customers products that we would buy ourselves. We hold our retailers to the same standards of quality, which ultimately benefits you! You will benefit from the high standards of, for example, product data management. You will be more readily discoverable in our on-site search and have a greater opportunity to convert customers – resulting in more sales for you!

Our Pre-requisites:

Legal Form and Country of Head Office: 

For German Companies: You have a business in Germany with a German legal form and a German VAT ID (small businesses are excluded from sale according to § 19 UStG (German Value Added Tax Act))

 

For Dutch Companies: You have a business in the Netherlands with the legal form B.V., N.V. or V.O.F., a valid Dutch VAT ID, and you participate in the OSS procedure, using your Dutch VAT for this purpose

Customer Service: You offer customer service in German

Shipping: You ship from a warehouse in Germany or the EU

Returns: You accept returns in a warehouse in Germany or selected EU countries (Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Spain and the Czech Republic)

Fee & Commission 

The monthly basic fee is € 99.90 regardless of the number of products you offer. The basic fee applies after you have concluded the contract with us and you are technically able to sell products on otto.de. The contract can be terminated at any time with one month's notice to the end of the month. 
In line with all commercial trading platforms, you will also pay a commission for each item sold which is determined by the product group. In some product groups, different commission rates may apply depending on the sales price.
